VACANCY ACCOUNTANT DEIDO BRANCH – DOUALA Be part of a fast growing Microfinance Institution committed to transparency, accountability and advancing communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely and correct accounting of all transactions Prepare and process payments, receipts, journal entries and reconciliations Prepare financial statements, budgets and monthly management reports Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements Manage fixed assets register and inventory records Coordinate and facilitate audits (internal and external) Ensure proper documentation, filing and safekeeping of financial records Support in tax preparation and statutory declarations Perform any other related duties assigned by the Branch Manager or Management

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field Experience in the Microfinance industry will be of added advantage Bilingual (French & English) Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Strong analytical, numerical and organizational skills Able to work independently and grow fast in a fast growing Microfinance institution High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail Ready to start work immediately
