in support to an L3 emergency response?\nNo\nJob Description\nThe International Organization for Migration (IOM) implements Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) programs to provide human, logistical, and administrative assistance to migrants wishing to voluntarily return to their country of origin and reintegrate sustainably. In this context, an AVRR assistant, grade G5, is recruited to support the implementation and monitoring of activities.\n\n\n\nUnder the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM), the National Reintegration Officer in Cameroon and the direct supervision of the Senior Reintegration Associate, the Project Associate (Reintegration) will provide technical, administrative and operational support for the proper execution of AVRR programs, in accordance with the Organization's policies and procedures.\n\nResponsibilities\nWelcome, inform, and guide beneficiaries on return and reintegration assistance options.\n\nContribute to the effective implementation of AVRR activities, from voluntary return to reintegration, and to the close monitoring of beneficiaries and administrative case management.\n\nCreate and monitor individual beneficiary files (updating databases, collecting and verifying documents).\n\nFollow up on logistics and finance files to collect proof of funding for reintegration projects implemented for AVRR migrants.\n\n. Provide facilitation to returnees in drafting business plans and guiding them in setting up their businesses with information on how to obtain documents for a business, possible competitors, additional sources of funding and possible problems that they might encounter.\n\nCollect IOM service fees.\n\nSupport the efficient and effective handling of all cases until satisfactory completion of activities.\n\nSupport the effective and sustainable reintegration of returned Guinean migrants through personalized support and local monitoring.\n\nKeep abreast of internal and external developments in the field of AVRR and share assessment of potential impact on IOM support to migrants with the Head of Unit.\n\nAssist in delivering information sessions on AVRR to stakeholders likely to be in touch with potential beneficiaries.\n\nUndertake field visits to project sites, as required. Ensure compliance with the principles of confidentiality, dignity and non-discrimination;\n\nCollect and centralize the information needed to write activity reports;\n\nSupport the organization of workshops, awareness-raising sessions, and training for beneficiaries and partners;\n\nAssist in assessing the needs of beneficiaries, identifying specific vulnerabilities and proposing appropriate solutions.
