Unit is seeking a Security Intern whose overall objective is to support the strengthening of security risk management, compliance monitoring, and staff preparedness across IOM Cameroon offices.\n\nSpecific Objectives\n\n1. Support to Security Risk Management (SRM)\n\nAssist in the collection, analysis, and consolidation of security information from field offices\n\nSupport updates of Security Risk Management (SRM) measures, Mission Security Plans (MSP), and area‑specific security advisories\n\nParticipate in field risk assessments under the supervision of the Field Security Support Officer\n\nSupport follow‑up on compliance with SRM measures, including office assessments and site visits\n\n\n\n2. Security Compliance and Safety Monitoring\n\nAssist with security compliance checklists, including physical security, access control, fire safety, and staff safety equipment\n\nSupport in monitoring the implementation of UNSMS standards and SRM measures\n\nContribute to tracking of corrective actions, non‑compliance, and audit recommendations\n\nSupport documentation of safety observations, workplace hazards, and corrective recommendations\n\n\n\n3. Incident Reporting and Analysis\n\nSupport the compilation and analysis of security and safety incidents, including:\n\ncrime, road incidents, threats, intrusion reports, and protection‑related incidents\n\nAssist with the weekly and monthly security situation reports, maps, and trend analysis\n\n\n\n4.
