Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, responsible, and safety-conscious Driver with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional driving experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passenger(s), adhering to traffic laws, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safe Transportation of Passengers
   • oOperate the car/bus in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
   • oFollow designated routes and schedules.
   • oEnsure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection
   • oConduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, fuel, lights, etc.).
   • oReport any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
   • oEnsure the car/bus is clean, fueled, and ready for operation.
3. Regulatory & Documentation Compliance
   • oAdhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
   • oMaintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
   • oEnsure all required documents (license, insurance, permits) are valid and present.
4. Passenger Service & Communication
   • oAssist passengers with boarding and exiting when necessary.
   • oCommunicate delays, schedule changes, or important information clearly and politely.
   • oHandle passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
5. Safety & Emergency Response
   • oEnsure all safety equipment is available and functional (fire extinguisher, first aid kit, etc.).
   • oFollow emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or medical incidents.

Requirements:

• Age: Between 30 - 40 years
• Experience: Min of 2-3 years of proven professional experience as a driver, most have experience in driving buses.
• Geographical Knowledge: Perfect mastery of routes, traffic arteries, and neighborhoods of Yaoundé. The ability to anticipate and avoid traffic jams is essential.
• Driver's License: Should be valid. Category B.
• Driving Skills: Perfect mastery of driving automatic and manual vehicles and buses. Smooth and safe driving.
• ·Must have a clean driving record (no major violations).
• ·Must be in good physical health.
