ROLE DESCRIPTION
Ritz Regal is a premium resto-lounge experience built around elegance, discipline, and
exceptional service under the brand theme “Royalty Redefined”. As part of our growth and
operational strengthening, we are seeking an operations intern to support our day-to-day
administrative and operational activities.
The role focuses on ensuring that established processes, procedures, and service standards
are consistently respected across all departments. The intern will provide support to
management in coordinating operations, monitoring compliance, and contributing to
continuous improvement in a high-end restaurant environment.
The Operations Intern is expected to be hands-on and execution-focused, translating
management’s instructions into rapid execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative Support:
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Maintain operational records, checklists, and documentation
• Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and staff coordination
• Assist with inventory tracking and stock control records
2. Process & Standards Control:
• Monitor compliance with established operating procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct routine checks to ensure service and kitchen standards are respected
• Report deviations from procedures to management
• Assist in updating process documentation when required
3. Operational Support:
• Support coordination between kitchen, service, bar, and reception teams
• Support implementation of new operational initiatives
• Assist in resolving minor operational issues during service
• Observe workflow and provide feedback for improvement
4. General Duties:
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Provide general assistance to the Operations Manager as required
• Contribute to a culture of quality, discipline, and continuous improvement
Educational Background
• Student or recent graduate in Operations Management, Hospitality Management,
Business Administration, or related field.
• A professional certification in hospitality management (e.g., BIHC certificate) will be
an added advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• High integrity and zero tolerance for leakage or malpractice.
• Good organizational and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail and process-driven mindset.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to observe, analyze, and report issues objectively.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Professional attitude, proactive, accountable, and willingness to learn.
• Bilingual – English & French
